Community Guidelines
Aleto is for sharing real moments around places and cities. These guidelines explain what is and is not allowed.
1. Be lawful and respectful
Do not use Aleto to break the law, encourage illegal activity, harass others, threaten people, or create unsafe situations.
2. No harassment or bullying
Do not post content or comments that:
- Threaten, shame, intimidate, or target another person.
- Encourage others to harass or attack someone.
- Use slurs or degrading attacks.
- Repeatedly target a person against their wishes.
3. No hate or extremist content
Do not post hate content, praise or promote extremist violence, or attack people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or similar attributes.
4. No sexual exploitation or child safety violations
Aleto has zero tolerance for sexual content involving minors, exploitation, grooming, coercion, or abuse. Do not upload, request, promote, or share this type of content.
5. No graphic violence or dangerous content
Do not post graphic violence, instructions for serious harm, threats, weapon misuse, self-harm encouragement, or content that creates immediate safety risks.
6. Respect privacy
Do not post:
- Private addresses, phone numbers, emails, identification documents, or financial information.
- Private conversations without permission.
- Videos that invade someone’s privacy or expose them in a harmful way.
- Content filmed in private spaces where people reasonably expect privacy.
7. Respect intellectual property
Only upload content you have the right to share. Do not upload content that violates copyright, trademarks, publicity rights, or other rights.
8. No spam or manipulation
Do not:
- Spam posts, comments, reports, likes, dislikes, or favorites.
- Use fake accounts to manipulate activity.
- Mass-report content abusively.
- Mislead users with fake events, fake emergencies, scams, or impersonation.
9. Location-aware content
Aleto uses user-selected city and country information. Do not abuse city tags or local feeds to mislead people, target individuals, or create false reports of real-world events.
10. Reporting content
If you see content that appears to violate these guidelines, use the in-app report feature where available. Reports may lead to content being hidden, reviewed, restored, or removed.
11. Moderation actions
Aleto may remove content, hide content pending review, reject or approve review requests, restrict accounts, or take other action to protect users and the service.
12. Appeals and review requests
If your post is hidden after reports, you may be able to request review in the app. A review request does not guarantee restoration.
